Sunday Services - Plan Your Visit
Hayling Island Baptist Church meets @
Hayling Island Community Centre
Ample parking is available on the premises.
Alternatively, if you're coming by bus, the Havant-Hayling bus services (30 and 31) will drop you off at the Tesco Express. Walk east, back the way you've just come, and turn right into the car park. Ahead you'll see a large field. Walk towards this, then follow the road right. This leads to the second car park, where you'll see the entrance to the Hayling Island Community Centre.
Sunday 10am Service
Includes contemporary worship, prayer, a revelant message from the Bible and ends with refreshments.
Children's Church takes place during this service and there is also a creche area.
What to Expect
If it is your first time with us, aim to arrive at around 9:45, you will be given some welcome information. If you would like us to contact you at a later date, fill in the card and return it to one of the welcome team, or pop it in the collection plate during the service.
School-goers join us for the first part of the service and then head out to their age-specific groups. There they are looked after and encouraged in their faith journey by excellent volunteers who are DBS checked and have undergone our safeguarding training.
Babies and under-4s can stay in church with their parent/carer, or they can go out to a special creche area - it's up to you!
We offer communion twice a month. This is open to all who accept Jesus as their Saviour, no matter their denomination.
After the service, refreshments are served.
If you would like prayer at any stage, then the welcome team and leaders are there to support you.
