Acts 9:32-43 -The ministry of Peter (1) - Healing and raising the dead.
Welcome everyone - today Jan and Ian will be leading us in worship. Their son, Chris will be bringing us God's word.
The children's service can be found on www.hillsong.co.uk, or go to YouTube: "Hillsong kids online service". The weeks are no longer shown so check that it is the most recent online service posted - it is released each Sunday morning.
From everlasting, to everlasting, You are God.
From everlasting to everlasting, You are God.
1. In holiness You stand secure, Through culture’s shifting sands,
Unchanged by all the vanities of man. And as the nations rise and fall
Your sovereignty remains. You are, You are, You are the one true God.
2. In faithfulness Your love extends, Through times of turbulence,
Adopting those who call upon Your name. And every generation joins
In songs of grateful praise. You are, You are, You are the one true God.
Eternal, (Eternal)Immortal, (Immortal)Invisible (Invisible) God.
Here for you
1 Let our praise be Your welcome, Let our songs be a sign
We are here for You, we are here for You. Let Your breath come from heaven
Fill our hearts with Your life, We are here for You, we are here for You
To You our hearts are open, Nothing here is hidden, you are our one desire You alone are holy, only You are worthy, God, let Your fire fall down
2 Let our shout be Your anthem, Your renown fill the skies We are here for You, we are here for You, Let Your Word move in power Let what's dead come to life, We are here for You, we are here for You
We welcome You with praise. We welcome You with praise
Almighty God of love, Be welcomed in this place Let every heart adore. Let every soul awake
Almighty God of love. Be welcomed in this place

Death could not hold You, The veil torn before You You silence the boast of sin and grave. The heavens are roaring the praise of Your glory For You are raised to life again, You have no rival, You have no equal Now and forever God You reign, Yours is the kingdom, Yours is the glory Yours is the Name above all Names
3 What a powerful Name it is, What a powerful Name it is The Name of Jesus Christ my King, What a powerful Name it is Nothing can stand against, What a powerful Name it is The Name of Jesus,

We give thanks to God for the wonderful news that Vicky brought to us following her oncology appointment on Wednesday that she can commence Chemo therapy next Wednesday. However the tumor has already begun to shrink! We praise God for our answered prayers.
We now pray that God would open our ears to hear what he has to say through his word brought by Chris.
EVERYONE NEEDS COMPASSION, Love that’s never failing;
Let mercy fall on me. Everyone needs forgiveness,
The kindness of a Saviour; The hope of nations.
Saviour, He can move the mountains,
My God is mighty to save, He is mighty to save.
Forever, Author of salvation, He rose and conquered the grave,
Jesus conquered the grave.
2 So take me as You find me, All my fears and failures;
Fill my life again. I give my life to follow
Everything I believe in; Now I surrender.
Shine your light And let the whole world see
We’re singing for the glory Of the risen King, Jesus.
Shine your light And let the whole world see
We’re singing for the glory Of the risen King.
Please can we pray for Richard.
If you did not receive the church e mail yesterday, on Friday Richard was taken to hospital with what has turned out to be kidney stones. He has been in a lot of pain and suffering with nausea.
He has been sent home with medications to help ease the symptoms and help pass the stones, but is still feeling very unwell.
Please can we pray for a swift and pain free passing of the stones, and that no surgery is necessary.
Please also pray for peace for Richard and Pam at this time, that they will know God’s presence, and get good rest.
Please also join us in pleading to God to pour his mercy upon those who are suffering in Beirut as a result of the explosion this week. May he grant wisdom to those administering aid and give healing to those suffering loss. We pray that you all have an amazing week and walk in the power of the Lord while we walk with midges in Scotland! God bless from Ian & Jan

As you meet this week, begin by praying for the Holy Spirit to guide your discussion. Read Acts 9:32-43, then discuss these questions:
1.Do we all have a calling from God.
2.What stands out for you in both these stories.
3.Has this challenged you to trust God more for the heavenly on earth.
4. How will you answer you call from God.
End by asking for prayer needs in your group, then take time to pray for each other.
Paul Dennison, from the Bridge Church, will continue to collect for the Food Bank. Sarah and David are still happy to receive food for the Food Bank at their home until we are back at church, and even then to organise its delivery to the Bridge.
As to Hayling Holiday Lunches, the government has said they will only provide vouchers for the summer and not in future holidays, so Hayling Holiday Lunches will resume when needed.
