PAST-IT PAIR. To discover what sort of a boy Ishmael turned out to be you’ll need to read Genesis chapter 16 and verse 12.

Life Zone

Tonight we are all invited to a very special event - communion (sometimes called "The Lord's Supper"). Most of us haven't been able to enjoy supper with friends or our wider family in a very long time, but God invites his church family to his table to share regularly in a very special meal and we're going to give it a go via Zoom tonight (7 March) at 7pm. Here's what it's all about:

Why not join us for communion this evening by clicking on the Zoom link in the "Notices" at the end of this service at 7pm this evening (7 March)? If you've never used Zoom before, just click on the link and follow the instructions.

Zoom Communion

We look forward to sharing in this special time led by Rev. Richard Ellingham. Have a little bit of bread and grape juice (or something similar) on hand when you join us.

Small group questions

Read Mark 10:46-52

  1. Jesus' ministry lasted for over 3 years. Discuss some of the different attitudes of the people that confronted him at that time.

  2. What's the difference in attitude between James, John and Bartemaeus reflected in each one's request of Christ?

  3. What is the difference between mercy and grace?

  4. "Be still and know that I am God." How good are you at being still before God? How does your time of daily devotion work? How could you improve on things?

  5. After having his sight restored, Bartemaeus glorified God. Are you thanking God for anything in particular at this present time?
