As a church we have so-called
‘Cell’ groups meeting in homes around the Island. These

usually take a four-fold structure:
Welcome - to make all feel at
home and able to relate to each other in a friendly and
non-threatening way.
Worship - where the group is
led to focus on God, who he is and what he does, with praise and
worship. This may take different forms depending on who is
leading.
Word - sometimes a follow-up
discussion of the previous Sunday’s sermon, or if more
appropriate, a subject from the Bible relating to real life
issues.
Witness - where we discuss and
pray about ways to reach the un-churched and to empower each
member to be ‘Salt & Light’ in the world.
There are currently several
weekly home based ‘Cell’ groups on Tuesday and Thursday evenings
of the week, during school term time.
There are also day-time Groups:
one on a Tuesday afternoon, and also a Thursday morning group (B.R.E.A.D.) for the ladies.
If you are not yet in a Cell group and would like to join one,
please have a chat with Jacky, who can also help with further
details on cell groups.
The names and phone numbers of
Cell group leaders are shown below. Please note the following
change: Frances now has a new co-leader, Keith Williams.
